In the ’90s I obsessively worked with a Tascam 4-track recorder and around the turn of the millennium I had the opportunity to record a full album at Dan Lacksman’s SynSound Studio. An eye-opener, to say the least. Today I mainly work in my own Elliott Plays Studio but have gained a fair amount of experience in high-end studios (ICP Studios, Jet Studio, Alaska Studios, …). I learned a great deal from fantastic engineers and producers (Koen Gisen, Staf Verbeek, David Poltrock, Jimmy Van Rietvelde, …), likewise from musicians (Marc Bonne, Steven Van Gelder, Patricia Vanneste, David Poltrock, Eva Hautekiet, …) and singer-songwriters (Annelies Tanghe, Pieter Van Dessel, Leen De Haes, Steven Borgerhoff, …).
